Today we are aware of the environmental issues that are evident in today’s society. The causes are well documented for issues such as global warming and do not necessarily effect your business practices yet. This will change. Our responsibilities will change due to new regulation and legislation.
At Elite Air our
aim is to ensure that our solutions and air
conditioning services in Bristol systems installed
are certified fully compliant with current global
warming and climate regulations. Our awareness
of proposed regulations likely to be adopted also
means that where possible we at Elite Air can
implement tomorrow solutions today.
Our solutions to address these issues remain cost effective whilst at the same time preventing potentially expensive last minute upgrades being forced upon you by statutory compliance.
- 2005 : R22 new installations are banned.
- 2007-2009 : R22 refrigerant and system maintenance becomes expensive.
- 2010 : No more ‘virgin’ R22 refrigerant sold.
- 2015 : Total ban on R22
It is important to note that these deadlines are open to review in 2008 and so could become effective sooner causing all R22 systems to become effectively obsolete. |
